Then EMD’s Business Simulation Programme could be the answer.

It is a 2 day programme that takes participants through a simplified model of a service, utilities or manufacturing business that demonstrates the effect of management decisions on company accounts. Participants must maximise profit for their fledgling company as it gains maturity in a competitive world. The exercise covers a 5 year period.

	Identify the way in which each person is able to impact the bottom line.
	Identify the critical cost and profit drivers within your organisation.
	Measuring the success of your organisation through triple bottom line accounting.
	Encourage lateral thinking.

There are numerous other key learnings, some being:

	Understand the linking of workplace decisions to financial performance.
	The need to reduce expenses.
	Avoid capital investment when there is no clear return.
	Improve the inventory process to reduce cost.
