George Miltenyi

George is the CEO of EMD Workforce Development.

He not only consults but buys and builds businesses. In the past five years George has had interests in businesses focussing on Education (ACL Pty Ltd), Water Distillation (CWT Pty Ltd), Multicultural Marketing & Management (MMM), Recruitment (Rubicor) and Life Insurance (ALI).

George believes that providing advice from "real world" experience in building and running businesses leads to superior consulting.

George has authored and co-authored four management publications; ‘Implementing a Multisource Performance Feedback System in your organisation’,  ‘Enterprise Bargaining Self Help Manual – The Key to Productivity and Performance’, ‘Performance Pay through Gain Sharing’ and ‘Key Performance Indicators – A Practical Approach to the Implementation of KPIs and Scorecards’. 

George has worked with many of Australia’s leading corporations such as Mobil Oil Australia, Brisbane City Council, PowerTel, Integral Energy, CS Energy, Ergon Energy, EnergyAustralia, Sydney Water Corporation, Smorgon Steel, Queensland Rail, Capral Aluminium, BOC Gases, BHP Lysaghts, Hawker de Havilland, ACI Glass Packaging and Containers Packaging. In the Government sector, consulting assignments spanned the Department of Defence, Department of Industrial Relations, Department of Employment, Education and Training, Prime Minister and Cabinet, Department of Social Security, and the Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs. 

George holds a range of directorships with Australian Life Insurances, EMD and Delvcorp. He has always maintained a special interest in the issues associated with management of an immigrant workforce and was a Commissioner of the NSW Ethnic Affairs Commission and a member of the Immigration Review Tribunal.

George has degrees in Law from the University of Technology and Social Work from the University of New South Wales respectively. He has also lectured here and overseas in Management, Industrial Relations, Law and Immigration and Remuneration.
