Our ConsultantsClive Thompson Clive is a principal of EMD Workforce Development, and practises as a human resources consultant and lawyer both in Australia and South Africa. He is a solicitor in the industrial relations and employment law group of one of the country’s leading law firms, Blake Dawson Waldron. An accredited mediator, facilitator and arbitrator, he works extensively in the areas of co-operative workplace change and alternative dispute resolution.In South Africa, he is Associate Professor of commercial law at the University of Cape Town, part-time Senior Commissioner of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration and director of the HR consulting group Resolve. He teaches the Certificate Program in Human Resource Management at the Australian Institute of Management and is co-presenter of Butterworths’ Current Labour Law Seminar in South Africa, now in its 12th year. He is co-author of South African Labour Law. A particular interest area of his is the design of consultative, negotiating and dispute resolution systems. |
